The National Monuments Service's description
An isolated roundwood with a toolmarked end (L 0.17m; diam. 0.08m). This site was destroyed before its location could be surveyed. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1992. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
