The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 5.5m min.; Wth 1.66m; D 0.16m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of light brushwood and twigs on the field surface and in the opposing drain face. The majority of the wood is widely spaced and longitudinally laid but portions of it are densely packed, incorporating beds of twigs, and there are some transverse elements. Woodworking is evidenced by a single metal-cut chisel point. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
