The National Monuments Service's description
A dense deposit (L 4.6m min.; Wth 3m min.; D 0.12m) of predominantly light brushwood, light roundwoods, a split timber and occasional twigs on the field surface. The elements are regularly laid within two discernible groups and the overall orientation of the site could not be discerned. The most E group consists of brushwood, three roundwoods and occasional twigs orientated approximately N-S. The most W deposit is composed of light brushwood, a radially split timber and occasional twigs orientated ESE-WSW. Additional investigation beyond the area investigated revealed further split timbers and a piece of brushwood with a side branch torn off. The wood is in poor condition and sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and some ericaceous remains.
