The National Monuments Service's description
A deposit (L 1.13m min.; Wth 0.54m min.; D 0.11m min.) of brushwood (diam. 0.023-0.058m) and roundwoods (diam. 0.073-0.082m). The elements are closely spaced and predominantly orientated E-W but the overall orientation of the site is indiscernible. There are three pieces orientated N-S which are interwoven with the other elements. Some branchtrimming is evident. The wood has been damaged by milling and is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Phragmites and some fibrous roots. This is one of a number of sites running along the line of a possible palaeo-channel orientated in a N direction across the bog, including SMR OF010-461---- to the S and SMR OF010-471----, 4.55m to the NW, which is 0.42m below SMR OF010-463----.
