The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 1.4m min.; Wth 1.1m min.; D 0.22m) is orientated N-S and consists of mixed brushwood, beds of twigs and two stakes. The brushwood is predominantly laid transversely but there a small number of longitudinals and irregularly laid pieces. These longitudinals are concentrated towards the SW side of the main deposit with heavier transverses further to the SW. The elements are closely set and the beds of twigs occur throughout and immediately above the brushwood. A single pencil point and two chisel points are evident. Alder, birch and hazel were amongst the species identified. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and fibrous roots.
