The National Monuments Service's description

A compact band of mixed brushwood with occasional twigs (Wth 1.15m; D 0.08m). The site is higher at its S side and slopes downward to the N. Many of the pieces are parallel and the site is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. This is one of five closely situated sites along a 6m length of the drain including SMR OF010-199----, 0.18m below and SMR OF010-197---- 0.1m below and 0.42m to the SW. SMR OF010-200---- and SMR OF010-201---- are to the NE. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
