The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated togher within the townland of Kilcoursey, described in the Civil Survey for Co. Offaly as 'and alonge the said lake to a pass called Toghermaglin (Lucas 1985, 58; Civil Survey Vol. X, 37).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
