On a slight rise in an area of undulating countryside with nearby ringfort (OF008-031----) to the N. Raised circular area (37m E-W; 36m N-S) enclosed by gently sloping bank ( Wth 1m, int. H 0.3m); wide flat bottomed fosse (Wth 2m; int. D 2m; ext. D 0.2m) with slight evidence of an external bank at S. Causeway entrance (Wth 2.5m) at SE. with evidence of wall footings on either side of the causeway. Uncertain if wall is original or a later feature. The interior of the site slopes from N to S. with a modern field wall and road intercepting the fosse at W.
