The National Monuments Service's description
The site (Wth 0.85m; D 0.3m) is orientated NE-SW and composed of a dense collection of light brushwood in the drain face. The brushwood is aligned longitudinally and is two pieces deep. A single piece lies outside the main concentration of wood 0.6m to the W. One piece of wood has been cut to a chisel point. All wood identified is of birch. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
