The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 5.46m; D 0.1m) appears to be orientated NW-SE but the components are irregularly laid. It consists of brushwood laid up to three pieces deep. The site has been substantially disturbed by milling and little wood remains in situ. The majority of pieces appear to have been broken but some show evidence for woodworking. Wood species include birch. The site is located in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
