The National Monuments Service's description
A loose distribution of light brushwood and twigs in the drain face (Wth 0.27m; D 0.095m). The pieces are orientated NNW-SSE and are up to three pieces deep. Wood species include ash. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent natural twigs. The site is located 0.8m SW of SMR OF007-274---- which is similar in construction. The relationship between these sites is unclear. A small scatter of brushwood pieces is also recorded 3m to the SE of this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
