The National Monuments Service's description

Two roundwoods on the field surface (L 2.05m min.; Wth 0.57m; D 0.07m), possibly ex situ. The shorter roundwood, lying perpendicular to the longer one at its E end, is poorly preserved due to machine damage and desiccation. The longer piece has been cut by a metal tool to a chisel point at its W end but is damaged at its S end. The site is located c. 4m N of SMR OF007-203----. Given the presence of a number of other isolated pieces of worked wood on field surfaces in this vicinity, both pieces may represent disturbance of a more substantial feature. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.

The original survey description was compiled by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin). Assessed and revised by: Caimin O'Brien, Paul Walsh
