The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 2.4m; diam. 0.035m) consists of four stakes at the base of the drain and in opposing drain faces, 2.15-2.4m apart, set at 60-80° angles. A wedge shaped end is evident on one piece and the remainder appear to have been broken in antiquity. The stakes were set within well humified Sphagnum peat.
