The National Monuments Service's description
The site (Wth 1.12m; D 0.38m) is orientated E-W and consists of of light brushwood, laid one piece deep, and a heavy roundwood in opposing drain faces The elements are closely set and longitudinally laid. No woodworking is evident. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Phragmites. Two pieces of light brushwood and a single roundwood 1.06m to the S, are situated in the peat stratum above this site. In addition eight pieces of light brushwood lie 0.1m below the S end the site. The pieces are widely spaced and are situated in a different peat strata These two bodies of material are likely to be separate sites.
