The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside. Irregular shaped area (diam E-W 22m; 60m N-S) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (ext. H 1.5m) with a wide low bank of earth and stones running E-W across the enclosure dividing it into two equal parts. No definite evidence for any burials or church site although there are some loose stones scattered about. According to local information it is believed that there was a monastery here and that the site was later used as a childrens burial ground.
