The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a natural rise in undulating countryside. Roughly circular area (diam 30m) enclosed by a low bank mainly of stone (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.5m) with evidence of stone facing at E elsewhere it is reduced to a scarp. No evidence of an external fosse or entrance feature. Natural bedrock protrudes from surface of interior. Field boundary intersects site at E. Depicted on 1849 edition of OS 6-inch map as an oval shaped enclosure.
