The National Monuments Service's description
A single ash roundwood (L 3m; diam. 0.078m) cut to a wedge point located on the field surface at the edge of a drain. The site was destroyed before its location could be surveyed. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1992. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
