The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 2.3m min; Wth 0.85m; D 0.18m) is orientated SSE-NNW and composed of a tightly packed longitudinals supported on several oblique timbers. In total there were twenty-one pieces of ash, oak, birch and hazel, including a roundwood (diam. 0.147m), several lighter roundwoods and heavy brushwood (av. diam. 0.042m). Some of the roundwoods are half-split with the split faces downward. Most of the roundwoods are worked to chisel points with some pencil points. The wood and woodworking evidence is poorly preserved with evidence of fungal attack.
