The National Monuments Service's description

A substantial trackway or wooden bridge of oak planks at the edge of Bord Na Móna bog. No further details available. (McDonald, T. 1987, 15). Site visited by F. Moore of the Nat. Mons Service on the 25 September 1987 and described the site as consisting of 'two rows of timber uprights running parallel to one another in a NE-SW direction. The two rows are less than 1m apart and comprise rough planks and slender tree-trunks extending over 9 metres and rising to a heigh of 30-50 cms above present ground level (ASI file).
