The National Monuments Service's description

Same site as OF007-057---- and which is mentioned in the Annals as Tochar Cinn Mona which O'Donovan locates in the townland of Togher in the parish of lemanaghan. It is mentioned in 11547 when the Lord Lieutenant made an incursion into Delvin 'and burned and plundered the country from Bealach-an-bhothair (Ballaghanoher townland, Co. Offaly] to Tochar-cinn-mona' (Lucas 1985, 49) . Unlocated togher within the townland of Togher in the barony of Garrycastle.
