The National Monuments Service's description

Report of a stone road in Bord na Móna boglands leading through Clonascra townland in a N-S direction towards Bloomhill. No further information available. (McDonald, T. 1987, 12)

Located on low-lying land between bog and well drained land. Narrow trackway (Wth 4m) of earth and stone composition running in a N/S direction between bog and well drained land. May originally have joined up with the pilgrims road.
