The National Monuments Service's description

Not visible at ground level. Site was noted during fieldwork by staff of the SMR office on the 28th March 1988. The landowner stated that a church had existed here, but was destroyed. He recalled two stone troughs on the site, one which was smashed up and the other, presentl in the care of Mr. Goodbody of Tullamore (ASI file 1988).
