Unlocated monument within the townland of Kilcurley. Kilcurley fort is mentioned in the OS Field Name Books of Offaly from 1837-40 (OSFNB Vol. 2, 511). Described as an 'ancient fort' that is located in the centre of the townland of Kilcurley.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
