The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in pasture on the floor of a small N-S stream c. 25m SE of NE-SW section of the stream. This is a rectangular stone (dims 0.75m x 0.35m; H 0.4m) with two whitethorn trees growing over it. A commemorative Mass was celebrated here c. 1980, and it is well known locally, although not mentioned by the sources (Ó Gallachair 1957).
