The National Monuments Service's description

Located on the summit of a broad NW-SE drumlin ridge overlooking Greaghlone or Beagh Lough, the S shore of which is c. 270m to the N. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 49m WNW-ESE; 47.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 6-7m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m generally to 2.1m at N) and hedge, with a slight and rounded outer fosse, most visible (Wth of top 6.4m; ext. D 0.2m) W-NW. The entrance (Wth of base 2.8m) is at E.
