The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the top of the NW-facing slope of the spine of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 27.5m N-S; c. 26m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.6-6.2m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 2.6-3m) separated by a flat-bottomed fosse re-cut as a drain (Wth of base 1-1.4m) in places from an outer overgrown bank (Wth of base 4.2-4.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.3-1.5m) with the remains on an outer stone facing as it was all utilised as a field bank. There is an entrance through the inner bank (Wth of base 2.3m) and a stone-lined causeway (Wth of top 1.7m; H 1.15m) at SE, but there is no gap through the outer bank. A sunken area (L 6m; Wth 2.4m; D 0.6m) extends SE from a break in the bank at NW with a spur (L 6.5m; Wth 2m; D 0.5m) extending N from a point close to its SE end. This is probably a collapsed souterrain, although no stone is present.
