The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a NE-facing slope overlooking Lough Namachree, which his c. 300m to the N. A circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m) is faintly depicted on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’. Traces of a bank could be preserved in a curve of a field bank NE-SE.
