The National Monuments Service's description

There are many traditions of megalithic tombs or standing stones in the area of Gragarnagh and Greagh . The most specific describes four orthostats (H c. 0.5m) with a large, flat capstone which was on top of a hill (IFC Schools' MSS: 941, 316), although it may be confused with the cairn at Lattonfasky (MO024-025----). See this web-page access on 09/05/2018: https://www.duchas.ie/en/cbes

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
