The National Monuments Service's description

Located at the E end of a WNW-ESE drumlin ridge. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 37m) defined by an earthen bank (art S: Wth of base 6m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 3m) separated by a fosse (Wth of base 1.7m) from an outer earthen bank. There is an entrance through the inner (Wth of base 2.7m) and outer (Wth of base 2.9m) banks and a causeway (Wth of top 4.4m; H 1.2m) at E, and the monument is surrounded by an earthen field bank (at ESE: Wth 3.1m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.55m) NE-SE with an entrance (Wth of base 5.4m) through it at E. There is a souterrain (MO010-014002-) inside the perimeter at N and a house-site (MO010-014003-) at the centre.
