The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the tip of a low W-E spur. This was known locally as a raheen and was described in 1970 (SMR file) as a slightly raised circular area (diam. 73m E-W) defined by a scarp (at E: Wth 3m; H 0.2m) and surrounded by traces of a fosse (at W: Wth or top 6m; Wth of base 2m; int. D 1.3m; ext. D 0.9m) but the perimeter was truncated by an E-W field bank at S. It had no visible entrance. It was surrounded by relict field banks but the visible profiles had been removed before a fuller record could be made. The cropmark of a large enclosure (diam. c. 85m) defined by a single fosse SW-N-E is visible on OSI aerial images (1995) and on digital Globe (2011-13) and Google Earth (12/07/2013).
