The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the E-facing slope of a broad N-S ridge. Earthworks, covering an area of about 17 ha (c. 42 acres) are visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: N 604, 605) occupying two modern fields. In the N field silted ditches create large rectangular fields (dims c. 50-100m x 40-60m). In the S field the plots are more varied in size (dims 27m x 16m to 145m x 60m) and the relict banks (Wth of base c. 5m; H c. 0.3m) and silted ditches (Wth c. 3-4m; D c. 0.6-0.8m) are generally parallel with the present field boundaries. A relatively narrow NW-SE strip (Wth 13-16) defined by ditches and extending through the length of the field (L c. 200m) close to its centre could be a roadway and it separates fairly regular rectangular plots to the SW with a circular enclosure (ME049-008----) where the boundaries are more chaotic in its vicinity.
