The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a slight hollow with a small canalised stream or drain at its S edge. Rectangular fields (dims c. 50m x c. 40m) covering an area of about 10 acres (c. 4 ha) are visible on oblique aerial photograph (CUCAP: APE 2). The visible profile of the earthworks had been removed by 1985 (SMR file).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
