The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the bottom of the N-facing slope of a broad hill. This is an oval, grass-covered natural hillock with a flattened top (dims of top 11m N-S; 7m E-W; dims of base c. 55m N-S; c. 40m E-W; H 7m). At a distance of c.20m to the SE a ditch (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.7m) has been cut across a low ridge SE-SSW (L c. 100m) with an entrance gap at SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
