The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a rise in a fairly level landscape. Human bones were recovered just beneath the surface in ploughing during October 1969. The remains of about 12 individuals were recovered from a confined area (diam. c. 50m) in the middle of a large field that had not been ploughed in living memory. No grave-cuts or orientation of the remains could be detected, and no artefacts were recovered in surface collection. No evidence of an enclosure has come to light on any aerial series. (Prendergast 1970)
