The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 60m) defined by a negative feature suggesting an earthen bank is visible on aerial photograph (ACAP: V273/61) with a positive feature like a pond (diam. c. 15m) inside the perimeter at SW. It does not appear on any other aerial images.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
