The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise in a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 8-10m) defined by a continuous fosse feature (Wth c. 2m) is visible on Google Earth (12/07/2013; 29/06/2018; 14/07/2018). The cropmark of a pond (diam. c. 15-20m), which is also depicted on the 1836 and 1912 editions of the OS 6-inch maps, is also visible in the same images c. 40m to the ESE. It was first reported by Jean Charles Caillère.
