The National Monuments Service's description

Geophysical survey within Rath na Rí and W of the Forradh (ME031-033010-) identified at least six arcs of geophysical anomalies (Newman 1977, 88, figs 24, 25), but the evidence is too tenuous at the moment to conclusively identify all the individual monuments. This is described as a possible ring-ditch (diam. c. 12m) indicated by a positive magnetic anomaly with a possible opening at S (ibid. 332).
