The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low NW-SE ridge. This enclosure is not depicted on any edition of the OS 6-inch map although it is suggested by a curved field bank and townland boundary NW-E, and the perimeter is visible SW-NW on aerial photographs (GSIAP: N: 87, 88, 272). This is an oval grass-covered area (dims 70m NW-SE; 62m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (at S: H 0.5m) ENE-S-NW, with a silted outer ditch (W2m; ext. D 0.2m) SW-NW but the perimeter is incorporated into a field bank and townland boundary with Friarspark NW-ENE. An entrance is not identified and it may be a landscape feature.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
