The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a rise in a level landscape. The parish church of Churchtown (ME030-006----) is in a rectangular graveyard (dims c. 60m N-S; c. 35m E-W) defined by masonry walls obscured by vegetation. According to Dopping (1682-5) the church was not enclosed at that time (Ellison 1972, 12).
