Located at the crest of a N-facing slope down to the flood plain of the meandering W-E River Nanny, which is c. 150m to the NE at the closest point. An aerial photograph (OSAP, 1995) shows the cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) defined by a single fosse feature (Pers com. Colin Byrne 2008). It is also visible on a digital image that Colin captured with a drone-mounted camera on 22/07/2021 and on Google Earth (21/07/2021). The ring-ditch (ME028-105----) is c. 50m to the E.
