The National Monuments Service's description

Inside Ballygarth church (ME028-003----) a small stone (dims c. 0.6m x c. 0.3m) has a shield bearing three diamonds in false relief, which is the crest of the Gifford family. The initials S.R., IHS and N above the shield and the date 1602 below it are also carved in in false relief.
