The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight rise at the SE edge of a fairly level landscape with the ground falling away NW-E S, and c. 100m from the crest of a steep slope down (H c. 30m) to a SSW-NNE section of the River Boyne. The cropmark of a subcircular area (int. dims c. 40m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) defined by what might be a stone spread (Wth c. 6-12m) is most clearly visible on Google Earth (12/11/2005; 14/05/2020). It is accompanied by what is probably an outer fosse (Wth c. 5-10m) W-N-E and there is probably an entrance at NW where these features are narrowest and the external ground is level. It was first reported by C. Corlett.
