The National Monuments Service's description
Two parallel NE-SW ditches (Wth 0.5m; D 0.18m: Wth 0.55m; D 0.24m) cross the excavated area (L 67.4m plus) about 2.7-5m apart and extend beyond it at either end. A third ditch (Wth 0.55m; D 0.3m) extends from one of them to the SE (L 26.5m). The parallel ditches may have been on either side of a field bank. No diagnostic artefacts were recovered from any of them but they were cut by a modern NNE-SSW ditch and one of them was cut by a figure-of-eight kiln, indicating a pre-medieval date. Analysis of the charcoal recorded small quantities of hazel, ash and a pomaceous fruitwood, and a sample of the latter provided a C14 date of 1090-840 cal. BC (SUREC 29329), placing the features in the Late Bronze Age. (Kelly 2010, 28-29)
