The National Monuments Service's description
Circular grass-covered (diam. 34m) area defined by a scarp with an external fosse SW-N-ESE. The original entrance may be at SE. It could be interpreted as a motte (Bradley and King 1985, 32).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
