The National Monuments Service's description
Knowth cemetery, Tomb 19. Nineteen glacial erratic boulders of mixed types were discovered in a fairly confined area (dims c. 15m x c. 15m) about 20m SE of the great mound of Tomb 1C during the course of the excavations which Eogan (1984, 156-8; 2017, 257) considered represented displaced kerbstones of a possible passage tomb or tombs that had been destroyed. In addition, about 300 broken fragments of green grit or greywacke, came to light in the same area, but not a single socket is associated with them. An imprecise location is provided SE of the great mound where the boulders were found.
