The National Monuments Service's description

The parish church of Monknewtown (ME019-019----) is in N part of a square graveyard (dims 34m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by masonry walls, which contains memorials dating from 1768-1962. There is a churchyard cross (ME019-019004-) in the gravyeard. The font (ME019-019003-) in now in front of the Roman Catholic church of Monknewtown, c. 75m to the N (ME019-018----).
