The National Monuments Service's description
The later part of the Iron Age (88 BC – 500 AD) and the early part of the Early Medieval Period (500-11 AD) are represented by a rectangular enclosure, two inhumations, and the use of cereal-drying kilns. Two inhumations were located c. 5m W of Structure 8, at the summit of the ridge. The remains were badly truncated, but both were supine and extended W-E with the head at W. The sex and age at death could not be determined but both were adults, and a sample of bone from one provided a C14 date of 434-598 cal. AD (UBA 12933). One fairly large perforated stone bead was recovered from one of the burials which could be a match for the smaller stone bead from the rectangular enclosure.
