The National Monuments Service's description

The Middle (1700-1200 BC) and Late Bronze Ages (c. 1200-800 BC) are represented by the establishment of a field system, three flimsy structures that might be connected with it, fulacht fia 1, the length of path across the pond and this small four-post structure on top of the ridge. Structure 7 is situated on the highest point at the S end of the S-N spur. It is represented by four postholes at the angles of a small rectangular structure (dims 2.4m NW-SE; 2.34m NE-SW). Two post pipes (diam. 0.12-0.25m) were in place, and a further posthole 1.5m to the S may have been related. No artefacts were recovered from the structure, but a fragment of hazel/alder charcoal from the largest post-pipe provided a C14 date of 1119-932 cal. BC (UBA 12914), placing it in the Late Bronze Age. (Walsh 2011, vol. 1, 117-19)
