The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a hillock in a fairly level, low-lying landscape. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 32.5m E-W; 31.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (at N: Wth 1.5m; H 0.65m; at W: Wth 2.2m; H 0.75m). There is no visible fosse or entrance. It had become overgrown by 1995 (OSAP).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
