The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a general slope down to the N with good views, a large oval, grass-covered area (dims c. 104m) is defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 5m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m). There are traces of a fosse (L 37m; Wth 3m; D 0.3m) ESE-SSE and possible further traces are indicated by a distinct vegetation change along the ENE side. There is a small rise in the bottom of the fosse on the SE side possibly indicating a causeway. The large enclosure (ME016-061----) is c. 160m to the NW and both may have been enclosed woods on the demesne of Drumbaragh.
